Happy New Year!! This special post doesn’t have a timestamp so I just have to tell you that it was posted at midnight (Eastern Standard Time)! This year New Years Eve fell on a Sunday and if you know me personally, you know that every Sunday I go over to my Great-Grandma’s house for dinner and family fun (and also to catch up on homework). So of course, my family and I spent New Year’s at my Great-Grandma’s house! I think it’s such a wonderful way to ring in the new year surrounded by my family with an addition of my boyfriend (who has become an addition to our family). (Click the “Read More” button to read the rest of this blog post!) Christmas was very fun! On December 17th, Asher and I went to his grandparents house and celebrated with his family plus Seth’s girlfriend, Kierra, and 2 family friends who are practically part of the family, Sam and Dante. We began the fun with a silly White Elephant Exchange where there was gifts like golden geese statues, a fluffy pillow, a fluffy blanket, a remote controlled poop emoji that farts, a couple saws, and a few antique things. After that we ate some yummy ham sandwiches, corn casserole, deviled eggs, green bean casserole, and sweet potato casserole. Christmas Eve fell on a Sunday this year and as I already mentioned, I spend every Sunday with my family at my Great-Grandma’s house so this wonderful day was no different. Asher and I played Magic: The Gathering for a while. He had to re-teach me how to play since it had been so long since I had last played, but it was really fun! While we played, my little cousin, Savannah played with my hair and made a really pretty heart braid! In between all of that, we ate some yummy foods that were set out as a buffet style. We also got to open the gifts my Great-Grandma had gotten for everyone and the gifts we had gotten for her. Christmas day was amazing! I started out the day by opening gifts and our stocking up with my mom and dad. Then after getting ready for the day, Asher had came over for breakfast lunch. We opened some of our presents I had gotten for Asher and he had gotten for me as well as the presents he had gotten for my parents and then the presents my parents had gotten for Asher. After we got finished with opening gifts and eating we went to my grandmas to talk and hang out with family members until dinner was ready. After we had eaten dinner we waited until everyone had their tea and then it was time to open presents from everyone. Once all of the presents were done Asher, Aaron, and I played a game of Magic: The Gathering for a while and then when we were done we went home for the rest of the night.
